ACER staff recently attended the 2017 NCAD in Baltimore, MD. The conference included seminars relevant to the Clinical, Admissions, Medical, and Financial Departments. The conference provided key ACER staff with the opportunity to expand their knowledge on current issues in the area of Substance Use Disorders. In turn, those who attended the conference were able to share this knowledge with the rest of the staff, allowing us to better serve our clients. ACER is proud to announce the arrival of our innovative new program Réveiller. From the French word meaning “to wake up”, Réveiller combines ACER’s Intensive Outpatient Program, Ambulatory With-drawal Management Program, Outpatient Program and Aftercare Group to provide the comprehensive treatment essential for success-ful recovery. Recognizing the opposing forces to engaging in treat-ment, we have prepared the structure necessary for maximum client involvement and motivation. Recovery skills are deepened through our intentional efforts to foster healing and change in the complex problems that underlie the substance use disorder.
ACER recognizes the urgency clients face as they work to begin a treatment program. Our dedicated admissions department is available for same day assessments for new referrals. We minimize time between first contact and admission. Additionally, we maintain a current resource for matching all referrals with appropriate resources.
