We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse for our substance abuse clinics in Louisiana. The RN assists with efforts with team members in accordance with standards of care and practices. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Assists with staff and client education and medical screenings as needed. Primarily works in the Ambulatory Outpatient Detoxification program, however, may be consulted and utilized in any other ACER, LLC program.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience

A minimum of three-(3) year’s experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric or addictive disorders healthcare preferred.
Licensure
- Current license to practice by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
Clinical assignments should be at least a Master’s Level behavioral health professionals, preferably with experience in addiction and/or co-occurring disorders. Internships are available.
